Everything with your name on it.
Your profile, photo and career history. Changes here update everywhere your name shows up on the site.
You do not need an account to vote or buy tickets. Accounts are for DJs, mentors and judges. Your email and phone number are never public.
Checking your session…
We could not reach the server
We could not confirm your session just now. On a weak connection this usually means the signal dropped for a moment. It does not mean anything is wrong with your account.
You are still signed in, so there is no password to re-enter. Below is the copy saved on this device. It may be slightly behind, and changes will not save until you are back online.

One question about your mix
How did you beatmatch the mix you sent in? The judges now score beatmatching on its own. A mix made with beat sync gets a set 5 out of 10 for that one part. Manual beatmatching is scored from 0 to 10. Please answer honestly. You can only answer once.
Where you scored
This shows which of the six criteria the panel noticed most for this mix. It is not a score and it is not a rank.
What the judges said
Notes the panel left on your mix, in no particular order and without names.

Mentorship
Every mentor who's ever taken you on stays here, and everyone you've taken on yourself.

View on the family tree →Your roles
The tools you see depend on the roles on your account.
Apprentice
Your apprentice profile is live. Mentors read what you are working on and how far along you are before they take a request, so keep it up to date.
Mentor
You are an approved mentor. Your dashboard has incoming requests, your current and past apprentices, and the switch that opens or closes you to new requests.
You don't have either role yet. Becoming an apprentice is instant: set up a profile and ask any mentor to take you on. Mentoring is reviewed by the team first, so it takes a little longer.
You can do both. Learning from someone does not stop you from teaching someone else. Start with either.
Listing & privacy
Nothing here is on unless you turn it on. Your email address and phone number are never public, whatever these say.
Puts you in the public DJ directory, where anyone can find you and open your profile page. This is exactly what becomes public: your artist name, your photo, your bio, your genres, and your Instagram handle if you've added one. If you're an approved mentor, the contact note you wrote for apprentices is public too.
What stays private, and the mentor exception
Your email and phone number never appear, and neither do your apprentice goals. If you leave this off, your profile page shows as not found to everyone except you. The one exception is an approved mentor: your profile stays public whatever this switch says, because apprentices need to find mentors in the directory. If you retire as a mentor, this switch takes over again.
You are an approved mentor, so you are listed and this cannot be switched off. An apprentice cannot send a request to someone the directory does not show. To come off the list, retire from mentoring on your mentor dashboard.
Adds your published mixes to your profile page. A mix that is still being judged stays hidden either way. This setting never shows anything to the public before its review is finished. It is separate from being listed, and turning it on does not list you.
Your showcase mixes
Sets you want people to hear on your profile: SoundCloud, Mixcloud or YouTube. Separate from anything entered into a competition, which stays private until it has been judged. Up to 10.
Password
Change it here without signing out or waiting for an email. We ask for your current password first, because someone else on a shared laptop could otherwise lock you out of your own account.

Your information
You can ask us to remove your personal details: your name, email, phone, Instagram, bio and photo. Your competition results stay, because other DJs’ placings are worked out relative to yours. They stop naming you and show an anonymous label instead. The mix you entered stays too. It is stored under a random filename with nothing identifying in it, and it is your work, not your personal information. Afterwards your email address is free again, so you can sign up fresh if you want to.
How removal works
This is not instant. Some of it, such as a judge’s written comment, has to be read by a person rather than swapped by a script, so one of us works through it by hand. There are also a few places a request cannot reach. The privacy notice says exactly which.
