Host Tools
Season controls and the running order.
Not a public page. The host’s desk for the whole season.
How to use this page. 1. Type the host passcode and press Open. 2. Pick a side in the desk menu: Comedy, DJ or Both (or All), then a shelf. 3. Each card says which side it is on and what it does in its first line.
The desk is locked
Hosts only. The passcode opens every tool on this page, and the server checks it each time.
Tools for the comedy side: comic profiles.
Comedians
Comic profiles: see who has signed up, and take one down if you need to.
Comedians
Which side is this? Comedy Comedians and their profiles
Everyone who has made a comic profile. Profiles go up on their own once the email is verified, with no approval step. Remove pulls a profile at once: it leaves the line-up and the profile page, the comic is signed out, and their picture is deleted. You can put it back. Delete is the permanent one: it erases the account, email, picture and news posts (forum posts stay, shown as “Former comic”) and cannot be undone. Use it when a comic asks and cannot do it themselves.
Tools for the DJ side: the season, the running order, results, DJ sign-ups, judges and mentorship.
Season & dates
The calendar, the Sheet’s steps, the running order and the results, in the order a season uses them.
Event dates
Which side is this? DJ DJs and the DJ competition
Owner-only. All times are Trinidad (AST, UTC-4). Enter them exactly as you want them to read, no timezone conversion happens. Each window opens and closes purely on its own two dates below, the instant the clock reaches them, regardless of whether any other window is also open, so it's safe to overlap them or run several at once (e.g. to test everything in one sitting).

How the crowd votes
Which side is this? DJ DJs and the DJ competition
Single vote: one vote per email, the crowd's 40% is each mix's share of the votes. Star ratings: 1 to 5 stars on as many mixes as people like, after 2 minutes of listening, and each mix's fair star average becomes its 40%. Single votes already cast stay on file and count again if you switch back.
Star ratings so far
Ballots worth a look
"One 5, rest 1s": one mix at 5 stars and every other at 1. "All the same": the same stars on every mix. Excluding a ballot takes it out of every average; nothing is deleted, and you can put it back.
Approve, publish, build the pool
Which side is this? DJ DJs and the DJ competition
These four run in the Google Sheet's Coronation Prelims menu, not on this page, in this order, each one enables the next:
- Approve all Pending submissions
- Publish final results (reveal top 8, and freeze them)
- Build Season Pool from published results (top 8)
- Publish Pool roster (reveal Meet The Pool)
Once the roster is published, the Running Order below will pull the real 8 names in automatically.
Changes made from the Sheet menu (publishing or unpublishing results, approving submissions, revoking a registration) reach the website within about 3 minutes. This button cuts that to about a minute.

The running order
The running order
Which side is this? DJ DJs and the DJ competition
Set the Running Order once the pool is published above. Come leg night, use Play Order, then record that leg's result below.
Double-check the bracket above matches what you saw on stage/screen. This writes straight into the season records and can't be silently redone once other results are recorded.
Record a result
Which side is this? DJ DJs and the DJ competition
Come back here after each leg night (and again after The Coronation) and record the champion. This writes Season Pool's status so the rest of the season can flow, used three times total: Leg One, Leg Two, then the Coronation.
Made a mistake?
Clears whichever act currently holds the title above. Use this before recording the correct one if you're not sure yet, or if you just need it gone.
People & invites
Who’s in: registrations, the judging panel and DJ invites.
Review registrations
Which side is this? DJ DJs and the DJ competition
Every new sign-up lands here first, not straight into the 20 open-call spots. Approve to send their confirmation email and claim a spot, or reject to leave it open. Check back through the whole registration window, not just once.
Invite a judge
Which side is this? DJ DJs and the DJ competition
Puts someone on the judging panel and emails them an invite in one go. It adds their roster row and creates their sign-in account, already verified. They get a link to pick their own password; you never see it and there's no passcode to send. Re-run it for the same judge to resend the invite. Like Mentorship below, this card talks to the accounts Worker, so it asks for the passcode again.
Remove a judge
Which side is this? DJ DJs and the DJ competition
Takes someone off the judging panel. Every row on the Judges tab with their email is switched to Active = FALSE. The rows stay, so inviting them again above switches them straight back on. Their sign-in account is not touched: a judge is often also a competing DJ, so they keep their DJ account, their password and stay signed in; they just can't score any more. Same as the Sheet menu's “Revoke a judge's access”. Like Invite a Judge, this asks for the passcode again.
Scores they've already saved are NOT removed. They stay on the Judge Scores tab and still count toward the results. To take a score out, use the Sheet menu's “Undo a judge score”.
Invite a DJ
Which side is this? DJ DJs and the DJ competition
The same thing as Invite a Judge, for a DJ. It creates their sign-in account, already verified, and emails them a link to pick their own password. You never see it and there's no passcode to send. This is a sign-in account only; it does not enter anyone into the competition, which is still Register's job.
It's also the rescue button. If a DJ's verification email never arrived, or they've locked themselves out of a password they only just set, run this with their address: an account that already exists keeps everything it has and simply gets a fresh set-password link. Re-run it any time to resend.
Safety & records
Safety reports and removal requests come first. Then DJ accounts and mentorship.
Mentorship & accounts
Which side is this? DJ DJs and the DJ competition
Safety reports from inside private mentor/mentee threads, mentor applications waiting on you, and who's already approved. This is the one card here that reads from the accounts Worker rather than the Sheet, mentorship lives in the accounts database, which Apps Script can't reach.
This card is served by the accounts Worker, which checks the real admin passcode rather than the token this page opened with. If you were signed back in automatically, it hasn't been typed this session yet.
Either side of a pairing can file one at any time, and the thread it came from is private. Nothing else surfaces it. Marking one resolved only closes it here: it never ends the pairing and never retires the mentor, exactly like hiding a post never deletes it. Whatever needs doing next is still your call.
Mentors are approved by hand because the site is vouching for them to DJs who are brand new. Approving puts them straight into the public mentor directory and lets them start taking requests.
“Not accepting” is the mentor’s own I’m-at-capacity switch, not a block, and stepping down is theirs to do. Revoke Approval is yours: it pulls them out of the public directory and stops new requests reaching them. The follow-up to a safety report you decided against. Existing pairings, threads and Legacy tree credits stay exactly as they are, and their DJ account is not touched.
Every pairing the public Legacy tree shows. Ending a pairing does not take it off the tree. That only marks it ended, and the edge keeps showing. This is the one place a pairing can actually be removed.
Tick pairings to remove them one by one, or remove a whole branch: that takes a DJ, everyone they mentored, everyone those DJs mentored, and the pairing above them, so the branch detaches cleanly. Accounts are never touched. A DJ simply stops appearing on the tree once they have no pairings left.
DJs who have asked to have their personal information removed. Nothing has happened to their account: filing a request changes nothing, so there is no clock running and no harm in one sitting here. Use Preview to load them into the Remove Personal Info tool below, which writes nothing until you tell it to.
Suspending blocks sign-in, ends every live session immediately, and drops the DJ out of the public registry and mentor directory. It is fully reversible and it does not delete anything. Their pairings, forum posts, mixes and season history all stay exactly as they are.
The permanent season record behind every public profile and the Hall of Fame. Written when a season is archived, and until now there was no way to see it, correct it, or remove a wrong entry. Removing a row does not touch the account it belongs to.
Remove personal info
Which side is this? DJ DJs and the DJ competition
For a DJ who asks to have their personal information removed. Their scores, placing and season results stay: other people’s standings are relative to theirs, but every row stops naming them and shows an anonymous label instead. Their email is freed so they can sign up again. The mix they entered is not touched: it is stored under a random name with nothing identifying in it, and it is their own work rather than personal information.
Tools that serve both sides or the whole site: email, news, the AAD Events calendar, sponsors, the open boards and storage.
Email & news
Messages and posts that reach everyone: member email, community news, and the gallery, news and flyer admin.
Email members
Which side is this? Both Both sides, or the whole site
Message one side of the site in one send, no more copying emails out of the Sheet by hand. Pick the side, then who on that side. Not tied to any step of the season, send whenever you need to.
News posts
Which side is this? Both Both sides, or the whole site
Songs, music videos and news that signed-in accounts share. Nothing is public until you approve it here. Approve puts a post on the News page and the home strip. Reject keeps it off and can leave a short reason the author reads on their own account. Unpublish takes a live post down again. Delete is permanent. Like the forum, this lives in the accounts database, so it reads from the accounts Worker rather than the Sheet.
Same admin passcode as the Mentorship card. If you have already entered it this session, this loads without asking again.
Feature something
Publish a song, video or piece of news yourself, as Atherly’s After Dark. It goes live straight away (no account, no email, no approval step) and can be pinned to the top of the home strip and the News page. At most three can be pinned at once, newest first: pinning a fourth is refused until you unpin one. Unpublishing a pinned post unpins it.
Rejected, withdrawn and taken-down posts. Approve puts one back live (if its link is not already live in another post).
Content admin
Which side is this? Both Both sides, or the whole site
Post to the public Gallery, News feed and Flyer archive. Each has its own passcode gate.
Calendar & sponsors
The AAD Events calendar and the Hype Meter’s sponsors.
Add an AAD event
Which side is this? Both Both sides, or the whole site
AAD Events is Atherly's After Dark's own calendar now, not a community submission board. This goes straight onto the public page the moment you add it, no review queue.
Listed AAD events
Which side is this? Both Both sides, or the whole site
Everything on the public AAD Events calendar right now. Remove one if it's cancelled or was added by mistake. The row is kept, just taken off the public page.
Hype Meter sponsors
Which side is this? Both Both sides, or the whole site
The Hype Meter's tap button (hype.html) always shows Atherly's own crown mark by default, add a sponsor here and pick a tier below to decide exactly how much of the room's attention they get. Hiding one pulls it out immediately; nothing is deleted from the Sheet.
- Title: exclusive, their logo IS the button (the crown and every Rotation sponsor step aside while any Title sponsor is active).
- Rotation: cycles with the crown, the default.
- Milestone only: never on the button; named (and shown, logo included) only in the "PEAK ENERGY" flash and the shareable card that comes with it. The cheapest real slot, tied to the room's biggest moment instead of constant visibility.

Moderation & storage
The open boards, and files left behind in storage.
Moderate Ask a Judge
Which side is this? Both Both sides, or the whole site
The Ask A Judge board on the Judges page is wide open. Anyone can post, no sign-in, no name needed. Anything that shouldn't be up there comes down from here in two taps instead of a hand-edit in the Sheet. Hiding pulls it off the public board straight away; the post itself stays in the Sheet, so nothing is lost.
Moderate the forum
Which side is this? Both Both sides, or the whole site
The forum is wide open. Anyone can post or reply with no sign-in and no name, exactly like the Ask A Judge board. Hiding pulls a post or a comment off the public forum straight away and can be put back from here; deleting is permanent and cannot. Like the Mentorship card, the forum lives in the accounts database, so this card reads from the accounts Worker rather than the Sheet.
Same admin passcode as the Mentorship card, if you've already entered it this session, this loads without asking again.
Everything on the public forum right now, newest first. Hide takes one down without losing it; Delete removes the post and its comments for good.
Already off the public forum, still here. Unhide puts one straight back; Delete is the same permanent removal as above, for anything that shouldn't sit around at all.
Every recent reply across the whole forum, newest first, with the post it sits under, enough to deal with a thread from here without going and finding it on the public page. Hidden ones stay listed, tagged, so putting one back is one tap rather than a hunt.
Comments: mixes, gallery and news
Which side is this? Both Both sides, or the whole site
Comments under submitted mixes (the vote page and the archive), on gallery photos and on news posts are kept in the Google Sheet under the name the person typed (a signed-in commenter's account or stage name). Delete erases one comment from the Sheet for good, hidden ones included. Delete all by this name erases every comment left under that exact name (capital letters and extra spaces do not matter, part of a name does not count): it counts them first, shows you the number and asks you to type DELETE. Use it when someone asks The Front Desk to have their comments removed. There is no undo. Looking for a news post's own thread? News posts also have Hide and Delete on the Content admin page.
Orphaned files
Which side is this? Both Both sides, or the whole site
Files still sitting in storage with no row pointing at them. They accumulate because the Sheet cannot delete storage files itself. A bulk gallery delete removes the rows and leaves every file behind. Scanning is always safe; nothing is deleted until you press the second button.
