Top 8
The top 8 DJs play live at the leg nights, four on each night. Leg and semi-final slots are set live online, one act at a time. Each numbered slot is one act, a solo DJ or a back-to-back duo, and acts play head to head. Every battle from here on is a live Roar-Off decided the same way: judges 60%, crowd 40%. That covers both semi-finals, each Leg Final and The Coronation.

- Make your login. Go to the Sign up page and create one with the exact email the event team has on file for you. That email is what puts you on the panel. If you already have a login, skip ahead.
- Verify your email. We send a link as soon as you sign up. Click it to switch the login on.
- Sign in at the judge page. Judges have their own sign-in and hub, separate from the DJ one. It checks your email against the judges roster and opens your hub with your bio, your photo and every entry waiting for you.
- Listen carefully. Listen to each mix from start to finish. You never see who made it, only what you hear. Score the mix, not the name.
- Give your score. Rate each of the six criteria, such as track selection and mixing skill. The page on what the judges score lists all six.
- Submit. Check your sliders first, because a score locks as soon as you save it. You have a 10-minute window to undo it yourself. After that, the event team can clear it for you.
Click here to try it yourself: two practice demos
Nothing here is saved. The demos give you a feel for two moments on the road to the crown: the roar that carries 40% of a live score, and the running order that sets who battles whom.
The decibel reader
A preview only. The real decibel reader is a physical meter at every live Roar-Off, and it carries the crowd's 40% share of the score. Online, that share comes from the vote.
The running order, a practice run
Placeholder acts only. Spin to reveal the next act, then spin again to place it in a semi-final. Nothing here is saved or real.
