The ten ranks
A new rank every five levels, from your first drink before the party to the greatest of all time. Your level comes from everything you have ever earned, so it is yours for good.
Three paths, one rank
You can walk all three. They all add to the same rank, and a chip next to your name says which paths got you there.
Everything you do as a raver
Posting and replying on the forum, commenting on the gallery and the news, and asking the judges a question. Other signed-in people liking what you wrote counts too.

These count only once the results are published, so the ladder never shows who got through before the room does.

How you earn
- Sign in. Your first sign-in after you verify your email earns 20 XP.
- Show up. Open the site signed in for 5 XP a day. Keep it going for streak bonuses: 3 days in a row +25, 7 days +75, 30 days +300.
- Listen. Five minutes or more of a competition mix earns 10 XP, each mix once a day, up to 10 a day. Hear every mix in the season for a 150 XP bonus.
- Take part. Forum posts (+10) and replies (+4), gallery, news and mix comments (+5), questions for the judges (+8) and playing the site's games (+5) each earn a little.
- Complete your profile. A photo and a bio earn 30 XP once.
- Be liked. When other signed-in people like your forum post or reply, you earn more. Your own likes do not count, and neither do likes from people who are not signed in.
- Limits. Every kind of action stops paying after a daily limit, so nobody climbs by posting in bulk.
- Voting earns nothing. Your vote is never linked to your account, and it never will be.
- Nothing is taken away. Your rank is for life. Your place on the ladder is for the season.
- Ties go to whoever got there first. Nothing here is picked at random.
- Recognition only. Levels, rank flair next to your name, a picture frame that glows brighter as you climb, and a place on the ladder. There is nothing to buy and nothing to win.
- You choose. If you are signed out, you earn nothing and nothing about you is recorded. Your name goes on the ladder only if you tick the box on your card.
